Middle Atlas Exploration: Immouzar – Dayet Aoua – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Azrou Our adventure commences at 9:30 am, as we set off to traverse the territories of the Berber tribes. Our journey begins with a visit to Immouzar Kandar, a prominent Berber village renowned as a favored Moroccan summer retreat. Our next destination is Dayet Aoua, a picturesque lake ensconced within lush woodlands, celebrated for its abundant avian inhabitants. After a period of relaxation amidst nature, our expedition proceeds to Ifrane, affectionately dubbed the “Moroccan Switzerland,” followed by an encounter with the Cedar forest’s playful monkeys in its pristine environment. The journey continues with a discovery tour of Azrou, a locale distinguished by its “great rock” and home to one of the area’s most significant weekly markets, famed for its exquisite Berber carpets. As dusk falls, we make our way back to Fez, enriched by the day’s explorations.
